Ancient Fossilised Wood Palm Stone

Hold a piece of prehistoric history with this beautiful Fossilised Wood Palm Stone (also known as Petrified Wood). Weighing a very substantial 114g, this tactile, chunky piece features a gorgeous high-polish finish that highlights the stunning, natural grain patterns of the original ancient timber.

Fossilised wood is a true marvel of time. Millions of years ago, a living tree was rapidly buried under sediment or volcanic ash. Over millennia, as the organic wood cells slowly decayed, they were meticulously replaced by rich minerals—such as chalcedony, jasper, and quartz—perfectly preserving the wood’s cellular structure in solid stone.

With its rich, earthy tones of deep brown, cream, and charcoal, this palm stone is an incredibly comforting tactile tool for meditation, grounding exercises, or historical display.
